Cookit is made by Cook Your Care. It was not born in an accelerator: it was born because none of us, at seven in the evening, knew what to cook.
Why this company exists.
The market is full of apps that give you recipes and apps that count your calories. Neither solves the moment you open the fridge and do not know where to start.
We used the tools that existed for years. One of us counting macros by hand for training, another trying to make a family dinner work with three different needs. They worked as long as you felt like working at them, and stopped working exactly when you needed them most.
The data itself is not the enemy. The enemy is the effort of handling it by hand, every day. Cookit keeps the value of that data and takes away the effort. Doing that needed three trades in the same room: someone who can cook, someone who knows what happens to food, and someone who can build the software.

Who cooks and who checks
No recipe goes out without a signature.
Ada suggests the recipes, but it is not Ada that publishes them. Every dish that ends up on the site went past someone who does this for a living.

Chef and ALMA Ambassador. French technique and Italian tradition, with conviviality at the center.
