Who he is
Marco Ambrosini is a co-founder of Cook Your Care, the project behind Cookit. He holds a degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Bologna, where he went on to earn a PhD in Agricultural Engineering, and comes from a technical agricultural high school. At Cookit he brings the part that gives the rest its solidity: real technical knowledge of food, of how it's produced, stored and combined.
He's the person the team asks "why" of. Not the marketing why, the scientific one: why a food lasts longer when stored a certain way, why counting calories tells only part of the story, why eating in a balanced way is more about habits than rules.
What he writes on Cookit
Marco signs the content that needs genuine expertise about food: nutrition and balance without diet logic, food storage and food safety, reducing waste, and the pieces that explain, from a technical standpoint, why Cookit exists and how it differs from a recipe app or a calorie counter.
His voice is precise but accessible: he explains the mechanism behind things and brings some data, without ever turning cold or textbook-like.
A useful note: his is a degree in food technology and a PhD in agricultural engineering, not a clinical qualification. That's why his nutrition content stays on balance and common sense, and is not medical advice or personalized meal plans.
